What the line actually does

Pick up the jobs you miss while you're working.

Calls are only recorded if you turn on transcription for a line, and callers hear a recording notice first. Anything still being built is marked coming soon.

On the job today

Calls ring in the app

Answer from the app with your business caller ID. Mute, keypad, and a call timer are on the call screen. On iPhone this is the browser and web push until the native app ships. Call recording is off for each line until you turn it on. When it is on, everyone on the call hears a recording notice before recording starts, including voicemail and the AI receptionist.

AI receptionist

An ElevenLabs voice answers when you set a number to the assistant. It uses your greeting and instructions, then leaves a transcript on the call. Included on Solo, Team, and Scale.

One inbox for texts

SMS and MMS land in one list with unread counts. Team and Scale add assignment so a crew of 2–5 can see who owns the reply.

A business number

Search and claim a number, or forward the one already on your truck and website. Callers keep dialing the same digits.

Missed-call text-back

Turn it on in that line's settings. When an inbound call ends unanswered, SixVox texts the caller from that number. Included on every plan, including Solo.

Business hours and after-hours routing

Turn it on per line. Open hours follow that line's answering. After hours, calls go to the AI receptionist or voicemail.

AI booking you approve

Turn it on per line. The receptionist can propose a time from your Google Calendar availability. You approve it with one tap before it is booked. Automatic booking is an optional setting.

Review requests

Save a Google review link in Integrations, with quiet hours and a cooldown. Mark job done on a thread sends one review text when that setting is on. The text includes STOP.

Payment links

From a conversation, open Payment link and text an amount. Stripe Connect is test mode. The charge is created on the connected account, not on SixVox.

Jobber

Connect Jobber under Integrations, then create or match a client and open a request from a call thread. Connect stays off until JOBBER_CLIENT_ID and JOBBER_CLIENT_SECRET are set. Tokens stay on the server.

Coming to the line

Native iPhone and Android app

Calls that ring like a normal phone call with the app closed. Today, Android can install the site and iPhone uses the browser.

Port your number in

Forwarding works now. A guided port-in, with status you can see in the app, is next.

Gmail, Calendar, and Maps

Read a contact's email beside the text thread, check the calendar, and look up an address before you roll the truck.

Texting registration

US carriers require A2P 10DLC registration. SixVox walks through it in the app on every plan. Texts can be blocked until the carrier says yes.

Alerts

Push and email for calls, voicemail, and texts, with quiet hours you set.

US carriers filter texts from numbers that are not registered for business texting. SixVox handles that registration (A2P 10DLC) on every plan. Texts can fail to deliver until the carrier approves it. Unregistered sender details.

SixVox is an internet phone service (VoIP). A 911 call from it is not the same as a call from a traditional phone: it may not reach your local dispatch center, and it may not send your location. Do not use SixVox as your only way to reach emergency services. 47 CFR 9.11 · FCC 911 dispatchable location.
